…Your Adventure in Nepal Awaits!
If you want to deepen your spiritual practice through lived experience, be awed, humbled, awakened, inspired, and renewed, this experience is for you.
This is a departure from ordinary life, but it is not a vacation.
This trip is a pilgrimage.
Practice happens on the remote, bumpy roads. Along the long, winding trails. In the rhythm of footsteps. In the way the body responds to the elements, fatigue, altitude, awe. The mind quiets not because we ask it to, but because it is required.
We pass wide valleys, narrow passes, villages of stone and earth, and pause in places where devotion is woven into daily life more than it is spoken about.
The paths we tread have been walked by pilgrims and practitioners for centuries, their prayers worn into the ground. Shrines, caves, and monasteries appear without announcement. Stories live in the landscape. The places we visit hold powerful energy and their histories are written in ancient texts.
The journey is the teacher.

The Hidden Kingdom Pilgrimage takes you on a journey into the wildest Himalayas, to the borders of Tibet, and a land that exists outside of time.
This fourteen-day pilgrimage moves slowly into the high places of Nepal, beginning in Kathmandu, passing through Pokhara, and following the Kali Gandaki gorge into the vast, wind-shaped landscapes of Upper Mustang.
We explore upriver through ancient villages of stone and earth, staying where life has unfolded in the same way for generations. Days are shaped by rhythm of sunrise and sunset. Walking becomes practice. Breath, posture, and attention are guided by the terrain itself. Yoga arises naturally in the body, through steady movement, pauses for rest, and simple Ayurvedic practices offered in the mornings and evenings to support strength, integration, and recovery.
Along the way, we encounter sacred caves carved into cliff faces, mani walls lining the trails, chortens marking thresholds, and prayer flags stretched across passes, carrying mantras continuously on the wind. In Upper Mustang, the landscape itself functions as a temple, shaped by Tibetan Buddhism and the even more ancient Bön tradition, lived through daily devotion.
At Muktinath, we participate in the rituals of an ancient pilgrimage. We cleanse our spirit in the 108 taps, where cold water pours from ancient spouts, and peer into where mystic fire rises from the earth.
Continuing north, the forbidden kingom of Lo Manthang rises from the high plateau. Encircled by ancient walls, the former capital of the Kingdom of Lo holds a quiet gravity, where monasteries, prayer halls, and daily life remain woven together. We spend time here moving slowly, practicing simply, and allowing the essence of devotion to settle into the body.
From Lo Manthang, we trek onward to Yara, crossing open land and narrow valleys where the wind sculpts red cliffs and the trail thins into silence. Along the way, caves and eroded walls speak of long-held retreat and refuge. In these wide, austere spaces, practice becomes pared down to what is essential: breath, movement, attention, and the steady rhythm of walking forward.
ITINERARY
Subject to Flow & Change
Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Gather in the Kathmandu Valley, where incense, bells, and narrow streets begin the slow recalibration of the senses. Time to settle, ground, and come together before the journey.
Day 2
Flight to Pokhara
A morning flight carries us west to Pokhara, framed by water and the first clear views of the Himalaya. The day is unhurried. We explore the lakeside, rest, and begin to shift into a slower rhythm.
Days 3 & 4
Venture Into Lower Mustang | Sacred Caves
A long but stunning jeep journey carries us into Lower Mustang, following the Kali Gandaki as the landscape transitions from green valleys to wind-sculpted stone. The road itself begins to open us up into what is possible. Stops along the way include caves, temples, and rural villages, and hiking through beautiful montane landscapes with glimpses of towering peaks when the sky opens up.
Day 5
Muktinath Pilgrimage
A short journey brings us to Muktinath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Himalaya. We participate in yogic and devotional rituals among potentially hundreds of pilgrims who have traveled here for centuries. Fire, water, breath, and prayer come together.
Day 6 & 7
Journey to Lo Manthang
A full day’s drive carries us deeper into Upper Mustang, across wide plateaus and narrow passes, arriving at Lo Manthang, the ancient walled capital of the former Kingdom of Lo. We explore monasteries, walk the surrounding land, practice gently, and allow the continuity of devotion and daily life to settle into the body.
Days 8 - 10
Trek to Yara and Surroundings
We leave Lo Manthang on foot, with possible short vehicle support, walking toward the village of Yara. The land opens and quiet deepens as the trail carries us across high desert and red-walled valleys. Ancient caves and eroded cliffs speak of long-held retreat and refuge. We continue through another village of Upper Mustang, following lesser-traveled paths and settling into the rhythm of village life before turning south.
Day 11
Return to Jomsom
A long jeep journey returns us to Jomsom, retracing the Kali Gandaki corridor and offering a felt sense of descent and integration. Unlikely, but weather-permitting, there may be an option to shorten the drive by taking a flight to Pokhara.
Day 12
Hot Springs at Narchyang
We travel to Narchyang and soak in natural hot springs, allowing heat and water to soften the body after days of walking, altitude, and wind.
Day 13
Return to Pokhara
A shorter drive brings us back to Pokhara. Time to rest, journal, receive bodywork, or simply sit by the lake as the journey settles.
Day 14
Departure or Extension
Remain in Pokhara for rest and reflection, or return to Kathmandu for onward travel.

We will meet you wherever you are: whether you an experienced yogi with an established practice, or have minimal knowledge of yoga but a genuine curiosity and sincere heart.
We ask all who join to arrive with a beginner's mind, absorbing teachings from the land, from the villagers, and from your guides.

For the trekking portion of the trip, you will need to be comfortable walking up to 5-6 hours, several days of the trip, and carrying perhaps 20lbs. There will be significant elevation gains and losses, but we have time to take it slowly.
For the spiritual tour, we will have private transportation, and walk (no large packs) for up to 2-3 hours on some days.
All yoga is modifiable and will be tailored to meet the needs of the group.

Your body is your choice. We invite pilgrims to treat this journey to sacred places as an opportunity to practice ahimsa by choosing a clean, nourishing diet that supports physical cleansing as we travel.
Whenever possible, we will offer primarily sattvic foods to help purify and support the body, our vessel, as we walk this pilgrimage. As we move through these sacred landscapes, we also tend to the inner landscape, seeking to purify body and mind together so that our whole being, body, mind, and spirit, can feel uplifted and aligned. Of course, you may bring supplemental foods as needed and desired.

There is a whole section of the contract that goes into detail, but the short of it is that if we have to cancel on our end, you'll be offered several options and we do what we can to offer the best alternative possible. And, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect you from any mishaps in any part of your journey.
If something comes up on your end, you will be offered a 50% refund minus the deposit 30 days+ prior to departure, and 100% refund minus the deposit 60+ days prior to departure. No refund is possible within 30 days of departure.
